Does BARS provide learning support before the face-to-face course?

Absolutely. In fact, the period before you attend the face-to-face component is an important part of the BARS Training Australia learning process. Students receive their pre-course learning material and work through the underpinning knowledge before attending the practical component of the course. During this period, you are not simply handed a workbook and left on your own. BARS provides access to extensive learning resources, including a 271-page training manual and 58 instructional videos, together with facilitator support by telephone and online video conferencing.

An optional support session of up to four hours is also available to students who need additional assistance. If you are struggling with the workbook, don't wait until the face-to-face course to tell us. Contact your facilitator and ask for help. Where a student has been unable to complete the required pre-course learning, BARS can provide additional face-to-face training at no additional cost where required to help the student develop the knowledge needed to progress through the course.

Our pre-enrolment assessment also helps us identify Language, Literacy, Numeracy and Digital literacy needs, learning difficulties or other circumstances where additional support or reasonable adjustment may be appropriate. Our Student Handbook provides for study support, LLN assistance, additional learning resources, flexible delivery and information technology support based on individual student needs.

The message is simple: if you need help, ask. We'd much rather work with you before the face-to-face course than have you arrive struggling with material you haven't understood.
