What is BARS BASE Camp?

BARS Support and Choosing a Training Provider · 19 views
BASE Camp stands for BARS And Security Employment Camp. It is our social media community on Facebook where BARS Training Australia students can stay connected with us and with other members of the security industry. Unlike the BARS Employment Portal, you do not need to have received your security licence before joining BASE Camp. (click here)

It is available to our students so the relationships and support developed during training can continue while you are waiting for your licence and well after your course has finished. BASE Camp gives us somewhere to share industry information, experiences and those good-news stories we love hearing – particularly when a former student gets their licence, finds their first security job or progresses further in their career. It is also somewhere you can seek general industry advice and remain connected with people you trained alongside. Security training shouldn't be a relationship that finishes when we issue your qualification. Some of our former students remain in contact with BARS many years after completing their original course.

Our philosophy is fairly simple: if you enjoyed your training, become happily employed in the security industry and were happy with the support BARS provided, chances are we'll meet again.  It might be around the virtual fireplace at BASE Camp, over a real cup of coffee, or when you walk back into a BARS classroom for your next training course.
