The BARS Employment Portal is a free post-training support service designed to help BARS Training Australia graduates connect with security employers and employment opportunities throughout Queensland. Once you have obtained your Queensland security licence, you can access the Portal and our extensive employer network developed through more than 20 years of training and over 40 years of involvement in the Queensland security industry.

The Portal provides access to employment opportunities, links to security employment and Facebook groups where employers regularly advertise positions, and practical information and tips to help you find that first security job. There is a reason we require your security licence before providing access. Employers want applications from people who are actually licensed and ready to work, rather than receiving large numbers of applications from people who cannot yet legally perform the advertised security duties.

The Employment Portal works alongside BASE Camp, our ongoing student support community where BARS graduates, licensed security providers and employers can remain connected and share industry and employment information. Completing your course is only the beginning of your security career.  Once you are licensed, we want to help you turn that qualification and licence into employment.

We can't guarantee you a job – you still have to impress the employer – but we can certainly help put you in front of the people who may have one available.
