What support does BARS provide before I enrol?

BARS Support and Choosing a Training Provider · 21 views
Quite a lot. At BARS Training Australia, support starts before you become a student. For our full security courses, every applicant goes through a pre-enrolment assessment so we can make sure the course is suitable for you and identify anything that may affect your training before you commit to enrolment. Our application process allows us to look at your previous education and experience, Language, Literacy, Numeracy and Digital (LLND) skills, potential learning support or reasonable adjustment needs, Recognition of Prior Learning or credit transfer opportunities and the appropriate volume of learning for your circumstances.

If you are applying for Queensland Government Career Start funding, we also check the required eligibility information, declarations and identification before confirming whether funding is available. We discuss your suitability for the security licensing pathway, including disqualifying offences, future licensing costs, career goals and employment expectations. We also make sure you understand the course structure, practical assessment requirements, fees, refund arrangements and your responsibilities before enrolment. Our comprehensive website allows you to research the course, locations and available dates before you even submit an application.

Most importantly, an application to BARS is not an obligation to enrol. The pre-enrolment process works both ways: it allows us to determine whether we can properly support you, and it gives you the information you need to decide whether BARS Training Australia is the right RTO for you.

We would much rather identify and resolve a potential problem before you enrol than discover it after your training has commenced.
