Does previously holding a Crowd Controller licence create extra training requirements when I apply again more than 12 months later?

Existing Officers and Refresher Training · 4 views

Not on the basis of the former licence alone.

OFT confirmed that a former licence which expired more than 12 months previously does not create an additional training requirement that would not apply to another new applicant presenting the same CPP20218 qualification and current First Aid/CPR evidence.

The new application remains subject to the training and licensing requirements applicable at the time of application.

Confirmed by: Tamika Travers, Manager, Industry Licensing Unit, Office of Fair Trading, Department of Justice — 24 September 2026.
