How much is the full-fee BARS Certificate II security course?

BARS Training Australia publishes its course fees on our website, and all fees are fully disclosed to students before enrolment. Course fees can vary slightly depending on where in Queensland the training is being delivered.

Generally, the majority of BARS CPP20218 Certificate II in Security Operations courses have a full fee-for-service price of $950. In some regional and remote locations, the course fee may be higher because of the additional costs involved in delivering quality face-to-face training, including facilitator travel, accommodation, venue hire and catering.

BARS supplies meals during our security courses throughout Queensland, and needless to say, feeding everyone can become considerably more expensive when we travel into some of our regional and remote communities. Even with these additional costs, none of our currently scheduled CPP20218 courses exceeds $1,200 for the full fee-for-service course.

There are no surprises when you arrive at training. The applicable course fee and what is included will be disclosed before you enrol. Eligible students may also qualify for Queensland Government Career Start funding, which can substantially reduce the amount they personally contribute towards their training. If you are unsure which fee applies to a particular BARS course location, check the current course listing on our website or contact BARS before submitting your application.
