Can I study security in Toowoomba with BARS?

Regional Queensland Security Training · 19 views
Absolutely. BARS Training Australia regularly conducts CPP20218 Certificate II in Security Operations courses in Toowoomba.

While we do not maintain a permanent BARS training room in Toowoomba, we have access to excellent training facilities and currently conduct our courses at Rumours International, 323 Ruthven Street, Toowoomba City. Toowoomba is an important BARS regional training location and is within the Darling Downs–Maranoa region where BARS is approved as a Queensland Government Skills Assure Supplier to deliver eligible Career Start funded CPP20218 training.

Over many years of delivering courses in Toowoomba, BARS has also developed significant local industry resources and connections with security employers. This means our involvement does not simply finish when you complete the course. Once appropriately licensed, graduates can access BARS employment support and our broader Queensland security industry network. Toowoomba itself provides a diverse range of security employment opportunities across hospitality, events, retail, shopping centres, hospitals, gatehouses, industrial facilities, mobile patrols and the rapidly growing Darling Downs region.

BARS already has an extensive history of practical security training in Toowoomba, with our training gallery showing activities including metal detector searches, dealing with intoxicated persons, mock court, first aid, restraint and eviction procedures. So while we may not have a permanent BARS classroom in Toowoomba, we certainly have the facilities, experience, industry connections and employment support to make Toowoomba one of our important regional Queensland training locations.
