bsolutely. BARS Training Australia regularly delivers practical, face-to-face security training in Mount Isa and throughout Outback Queensland. While we do not maintain a permanent training room in Mount Isa, we have been delivering security courses in the region for many years and have developed the facilities, resources and industry relationships necessary to support students before, during and after their training.

Mount Isa is an important regional centre for the mining and resources industry, transport and logistics, government services, healthcare, retail, hospitality and major industrial operations. These industries create opportunities for licensed security officers in gatehouses, access control, mobile patrols, asset protection, licensed premises, industrial sites and critical infrastructure. BARS is also an approved Queensland Government Skills Assure Supplier for eligible Career Start CPP20218 training in the Queensland Outback region. Our commitment to remote Queensland extends well beyond Mount Isa.

BARS has delivered training across the Gulf Country and other remote communities, including Normanton, Doomadgee and Mornington Island, as part of our long-standing commitment to taking quality security training to Queenslanders rather than expecting everyone to travel to the major cities. For us, remote security training isn't an occasional exercise – it is one of the things BARS specialises in. If you live in Mount Isa or Outback Queensland, check our current course locations or contact BARS.

Where there is sufficient demand, we will always look at bringing the training to your community.
