Absolutely. In fact, we consider BARS Training Australia to be one of Queensland’s principal specialist security training providers, particularly when it comes to regional, rural and remote communities.

BARS has delivered training in more than 44 locations throughout Queensland, from the major regional centres through to Cape York, the Gulf Country and the Torres Strait. We regularly take practical, face-to-face security training to communities where students would otherwise have to travel hundreds or sometimes thousands of kilometres to obtain their qualification.

Our Queensland Government Career Start approval also covers regions including Cairns, Townsville, Mackay–Isaac–Whitsunday, Central Queensland, Wide Bay, Darling Downs–Maranoa and Queensland Outback, as well as areas of South East Queensland. Delivering security training remotely is not an occasional sideline for BARS – it has been an important part of what we do for more than 20 years. We understand the additional challenges involved with trainers, equipment, venues, travel and accommodation, but we strongly believe people living in rural and remote Queensland deserve access to the same quality practical security training as someone living in Brisbane or the Gold Coast.
