Absolutely. Regional, rural and remote security training is one of the areas BARS Training Australia specialises in.

We believe people living outside South East Queensland should have access to the same quality face-to-face security training without automatically having to travel hundreds or even thousands of kilometres. BARS has trained more than 16,000 students and our website currently contains photographs of training conducted across more than 44 Queensland locations. Our delivery history includes some of Queensland's most remote communities, and the “Our Locations” section on the BARS website specifically includes areas such as Cape York, Gulf Country, Mount Isa and the Torres Strait, together with regional centres including Cairns, Townsville, Mackay, Rockhampton, Gladstone and Toowoomba.

Taking facilitators, training equipment and practical assessment resources into remote Queensland can certainly present some logistical challenges, but it is something BARS has been doing for more than 20 years. In many smaller communities, having locally trained and licensed security providers is particularly important because employers can struggle to attract licensed staff from larger centres. BARS is also an approved Queensland Government Skills Assure Supplier delivering eligible Career Start funded CPP20218 training across approved Queensland regions.
