Absolutely. At BARS Training Australia, our involvement with students does not end when we issue your qualification. Helping our graduates move from training, through licensing and into employment is an important part of what we do. Our CEO has worked in policing and the security industry in Queensland for more than 45 years and, as National Director of the Security Providers Association of Australia Limited (SPAAL), is involved with security providers throughout Queensland, including industry compliance activities.

BARS has developed an extensive network of security employers and industry contacts throughout Queensland over more than 20 years of delivering security training. We use those relationships, together with the BARS Employment Portal and BASE Camp community, to connect graduates with employment opportunities and help them understand what employers are looking for.

We cannot guarantee anyone a job – ultimately you still need to impress the employer – but we are absolutely committed to helping our graduates find employment. We can assist with employment opportunities, industry contacts, resumes, understanding employer expectations and practical guidance about entering the industry.

There is also a very simple reason this matters to BARS: your success benefits us too. If you enjoyed your training, become licensed, find a security job and enjoy working in the industry, chances are we will see you again for refresher training, first aid, cash-in-transit, firearms or further professional development. We don't measure success simply by how many qualifications we issue. We want to see our students actually working in the industry.
