No. BARS Training Australia cannot and does not guarantee employment after completing your security training. In fact, our Student Handbook specifically makes it clear that an RTO cannot guarantee a particular employment outcome because the final employment decision belongs to the employer and depends on factors outside the training provider’s control. What we can guarantee is that we will do everything reasonably possible to help our students become employment-ready and connect with the Queensland security industry.

BARS has developed an extensive network of security employers and industry contacts over more than 20 years of delivering security training throughout Queensland. Once you have obtained your security licence, you can access the BARS Employment Portal, which connects licensed BARS graduates with employers looking for security staff. Our BASE Camp community also allows graduates, licensed security providers and employers to share employment opportunities and industry information. Ultimately, though, you have to win the job.

Your attitude, reliability, presentation, communication skills, availability and the impression you make on a prospective employer all matter. We can train you, help you become licensed, introduce you to employment opportunities and support you along the way – but we cannot attend the job interview for you. Our commitment does not finish when we issue your qualification. We want to see our students become licensed, find employment and build successful careers in the security industry.

That is good for you, good for the industry and, quite frankly, good for BARS too.
